# 52 Skiddoo And Screw You Too!!
(2009-12-18 at 22:04:35 )

On December 12, 2009 I got onto MTA bus # 4248 at the very first bus stop
on Jersey Street off of Richmond Terrace. I paid my fare and I got a
transfer from the driver.

There was only one woman passenger on this bus that was headed
for Staten Island University Hospital. The time on my pager, and the time
on the transfer I was given, both read 11:02AM

The Bus Driver Had To Have Left the Ferry Terminal Four Or Five Minutes Early!!

If I had A Badge And A Gun I Would Have Made Him Drive Back To The Ferry And
Pick Up The People That He Had Just Crassly Left Stranded There!!

Staten Island Needs A Pillory At The Ferry Terminal Where These Slimeballs
Can Be Beaten With Belts And Shoes By The Public They Crap On!!

Every weekend the drivers of the # 52 bus leave the St. George Ferry
Terminal without picking up the people getting off of the ferry boats.

The MTA employees in the tower just look the other way and ignore what
is going on, so this practice continues!!

On the weekdays bus drivers on the # 52 line have been known to drop
their last bus trips to the ferry terminal and therefore causing the
public to wait 40 to 60 minutes for the next bus.

These bus drivers are being paid $26.00 an hour to be mistreating and
abusing the Citizens of Staten Island in this manner. This has been
going on for many many years!!

On the tenth of December I waited for a # 52 bus while sitting down in
the new bus shelter on the grounds of the hospital at the beginning of
the route to the ferry. I think it was around 4:50PM.

At any rate on the trip to the ferry terminal a couple of people remarked
about how long that they had waited for the bus. A neighbor of mine got
on the bus and paid his fare and then he and the driver got into a little
spat about the buses not running on schedule.

That bus was on time; but I know the frustration that people feel when
they know that they are being constantly abused.

Sooner or later some innocent # 52 bus driver is going to be attacked
by someone totally fed up with what has been going on for years.

It is a shame but I know that it is bound to happen. Once it does happen
it may happen again and again.

I have been on # 52 buses that were leaving the ferry terminal early and
people wanting the bus were banging on the side of the bus but the bus
drivers just keep going leaving the people stranded for 30 minutes.

Violence does not solve things, It only makes things worse!!
Continually Crapping On People Eventually Makes Them Violent!!

My Heart Goes Out To All Of The Future Victims Of This Circus!!

It Is A Slippery Slope But It Is As Inevitable As An Overheated Pressure
Cooker Blowing Its Top!!

If It Was A Dance I Would Call It # 52 Skiddoo And Screw You Too!!

You Betcha!!
