Gentlemen:
I am mailing this Certified Letter to Mr. Jay Walder because the filing
of on-line complaints to the MTA is a complete waste of time!!
It is a waste of time because No One Comprising Management or Supervisory
Positions at The Metropolitan Transportation Authority Gives A Rats Ass
About The Fare Paying Passengers Or The Conditions That They Have To
Endure Every Day!!
Without A Doubt, The MTA Belongs In Federal Receivership Where the
Neglect, Favoritism, Cronyism, And Daily Cover Ups Will Not Be Tolerated!!
Under federal Receivership The Buses Will Run On Time: Bus Drivers Will
Not Be Using Cell Phones Or Making Text Messages Or Reading Or Listening
To Music While They Are Driving An MTA Bus.
Under Federal Receivership Bus Drivers Will Not be Smoking On The Buses
Or Urinating In The Rear Stairwell.
I Have Obtained the Website Domain Name -Zoo York City Transit Follies-
Where I Hope To Put Up The Always Stuck On Stupid Antics Of Some
Staten Island Bus Drivers. The Sooner the Better!!
Complaints Filed On-Line Bring The Resulting Response Displayed Below But
The Situation Is Never Addressed Or Corrected Because It Keeps Right
On Happening!!
From The MTA:
Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in our response to your
e-mail. We are currently in the process of clearing a backlog in our
e-mail system and are responding to our customers e-mails in the order
in which we originally received them. We appreciate your patience.
In addition to the on-the-road monitoring that we do, we are indebted to
customers such as you who dutifully keep us informed of any
unsatisfactory service or employee performance you observe or experience.
We appreciate your continuing concern for better bus service in New York
City. Thank you for your informative and helpful reports.
Sincerely,
Art Kelly
Manager, Customer Relations
Today I Filed Four More Complaints To The MTA on-line and I was emailed
four reference numbers: 100121-000377 - 100121-000379 -
100121-000380 and 100121-000381!!
For Your Perusal, Gentlemen, These Complaints Read As Follows:
Complaint # one - Another Time Thief!!
Jay H. Walder, Chairman, Metropolitan Transportation Authority
347 Madison Avenue,
New York, NY 10017 January 21, 2010
Dear Mr. Walder,
This morning I was within the bus shelter on Richmond Terrace at Jersey
Street awaiting the 10:15AM route 44 bus to the Staten Island Mall.
At 10:17AM I received a transfer from the bus operator which read
date: 1-21-10 time: 10:17AM route S 44S/W bus # 6316!!
SO MR. WALDER HOW DOES A BUS LEAVE THE ST. GEORGE FERRY
TERMINAL AT 10:15AM AND BE PICKING PEOPLE UP AT JERSEY
STREET AT 10:17AM????
This bus driver, knowing that he had purposely left the ferry terminal
early, sat in the bus stop on Henderson at Bement for a few minutes.
Later he did the same thing within a bus stop on Morningstar Road.
At the Mall bus stop on Yukon Avenue the driver was letting a passenger
off of the bus while a woman in the bus stop wanted and waved at a # 59
bus that was speeding by.
Instead of the bus operator driving bus 6316 sticking his hand out his
window for the # 59 bus to stop the # 44 bus driver tooted his horn.
The driver of the 59 bus was swinging off at the next stop so he was in
a hurry!!
Complaint # two - More Extreme Curbitis!!
Jay H. Walder, Chairman, Metropolitan Transportation Authority
347 Madison Avenue,
New York, NY 10017 January 21, 2010
Dear Mr. Walder,
I got onto the scheduled 11:50 AM route 61 bus # 4109 just outside of
the Yukon Depot that goes to the ferry terminal. This is another of your
bus drivers with a very serious case of Extreme Curbitis!!
The bus traveled all of the way to Harold Street before this bus driver
bothered to pull the bus over to the curb to pick anyone up or drop
anyone off. Three To Five feet from the curb is good enough for him!!
I departed this bus on Victory Blvd. at Lester Street and got sneered at
for requesting that the bus driver lower the bus so that I could safely
get off of the bus with my cane and shopping bag!!
Complaint # three - Repeat Offender Time Thief!!
Jay H. Walder, Chairman, Metropolitan Transportation Authority
347 Madison Avenue,
New York, NY 10017 January 21, 2010
Dear Mr. Walder,
At 1:16PM today I boarded route 52 bus # 6225 at 1:16PM on Cebra Avenue
at the corner of Victory Blvd. The bus was headed to the ferry terminal.
The schedule on the pole at this bus stop indicates that a # 52 bus is
due at 1:04PM; another one due at 1:24PM; and another due at 1:44PM!!
So What This Is Mr. Walder Is The Fourth Or Fifth Complaint I Have Filed
With Your Agency About This Very Same Bus Driver On This Very Same Trip
" Stealing Time " Is This Case EIGHT MINUTES!!
Your Agency Needs To Begin Firing Bus Drivers And Their Supervisors
Immediately Because This Has Been Going On For Years Now.
Complaint # four - Is It Early Or Is It Late??
Jay H. Walder, Chairman, Metropolitan Transportation Authority
347 Madison Avenue,
New York, NY 10017 January 21, 2010
Dear Mr. Walder,
At 3:53PM today I boarded S 78N/E bus # 6160 on Hylan Blvd. and got off
of this bus at 4:10PM on Tompkins Avenue at Vanderbuilt Avenue.
I checked the route 52 bus schedule on the pole which stated that # 52
buses were due there at 4:14PM - 4:34PM - 4:54PM!!
At 4:20PM I boarded route 52 bus # 6139 headed for the ferry terminal.
So Mr. Walder Was This Bus Six Minutes Late Or Was It Fourteen Minutes
Early???
You Are the Chairman Of The Metropolitan Transportation Authority; I am
a Fare Paying Passenger Being Shafted Every Single Day By Your Staten
Island Employees!!
When Are The Buses Going To Be Running According To The Posted Schedules,
Mr. Walder, When, When, When????
Your " Zoo York City Public Transit System " Belongs In Total Federal
Receiveship Because I Believe That Is The Only Way The Buses Will Ever
Be Running According To the Posted Schedules!! You Betcha!!!
Gentlemen This Letter Will Appear On My Present Website For The World To
See At: http://www.paynal.com However I will have to seek a cartoonist
to draw up an appropriate image or images to go along with this Parable!!
A Class Action Federal Lawsuit Should Straighten This Foolish Mess Out!!!
You Betcha!!

Cousin Lucky
