C.A.U.P.T.S. post two A Preposterous Example Of M.T.A. DisService To Staten Island
(2010-03-28 at 14:19:28 )
Every Weekend, and on lots of weekdays, Staten Islanders get off of a
ferry boat at the St. George terminal and find that the S 52 bus that
they had hoped to get onto has already left the station.
The M.T.A. continuously ignores this - Refusal Of Due Service - and many
other things that are done to the - Staten Island Stepchildren - on a
daily basis!!!

Mr. Jay H. Walder, Chairman, Metropolitan Transportation Authority
347 Madison Avenue,
New York, NY 10017 March 14, 2010
Dear Mr. Walder,
Today I took the 11:15AM S 61 bus from Yukon Avenue to the ferry terminal.
It was nearing twelve noon so I hurried up bus ramp A and walked on
the roadway over to ramp D where a bus with its flashers blinking
went by me down the roadway.
This bus drove up to the S 52 berth and the sign changed from Not in
Service to S 52 S.I. Hospital.
There was only one man standing there so I scurried along as the driver
shut the bus door! Luckily for me there was another man approaching this
S 52 bus from the S 40 berth so the driver had to re-open the bus doors.
The other man got on before me and paid his fare. I told the driver that
his bus flashers were on and I put my bag on the floor.
The bus driver closed the bus doors and I told him that it was not twelve
oclock yet as he mashed on the gas. He said he waited for me to get on
the bus so I did not have anything to gripe about. He also said no one
was on the ramp as he sneered at me.
He had to stop the bus at the light outside of the station and I was able
to pay my cash fare and request a transfer and I sat right behind this
Belligerent Bus driver and I took a picture of the two passengers on this
almost completely empty bus as it went by the police station.
The information on the transfer, Mr. Walder, reads: date 03-14-10 time:
11:59AM route: S 52SW bus 4277!! I did not say anything to the bus
driver when I got off of the bus because i was a little upset thinking
about the people that had got off of the ferry boat to once again find
that the S 52 bus driver had left without them.
If I had my way, Mr. Walder, when I reached my apartment at 12:05PM I
would have picked up my telephone and ordered two bus drivers and one
empty bus to the St. George Ferry Terminal so that when the driver of
bus 4277 came there to do his next trip he could be FIRED ON THE SPOT!!
There would be a driver there to take bus 4277 back to the Depot and an
empty bus there with a driver to do the S 52 trip to the hospital.
ANOTHER PREPOSTEROUS EXAMPLE, MR. WALDER, OF JUST WHY YOUR
ENTIRE AGENCY NEEDS TO BE PLACED UNDER FEDERAL RECEIVERSHIP!!
YOU BETCHA!!!!
