Delusional Diletantism Is Not Leadership

RON PAUL, a ten term congressman from Texas, is the leading advocate
of freedom in our nation's capital. He has devoted his political
career to the defense of individual liberty, sound money, and a
noninterventionist foreign policy. Judge Andrew Napolitano calls
him " The Thomas Jefferson Of Our Day. "

" There are few people in public life who, through thick and thin,
rain or shine, stick to their Principles, " added a congressional
colleague. " Ron Paul is one of those few. "

Those words are printed on the inside of Dr. Paul's book jacket.

I was one of those people that waited in line at Border's Book
Store for Dr. Paul to personally sign my copy of his wonderful book
" The REVOLUTION - a Manifesto ".

I spent 14 years employed by a state agency in Massachusetts where I
tried to do my job " By The Book ". One of the facts of human nature
is that people will assume that; because they know your name you are
supposed to let them take advantage of you, and your government job.

I voted for Dr. Ron Paul in New York's Republican primary election
because, even I can see that, this country is in very deep trouble.

I took a picture of one of the people in the line in front of me. I
talked to a lot of strangers that day; who are also quite aware of
just how deep a hole " the United States Government " has placed all
of its citizens into, without a shred of remorse or any concern.

On August 7, 2008 some of those people were passing out leaflets to
folks passing by The Federal Reserve in lower Manhattan. I took a
few pictures of these dedicated people who were at the four corners
of the building, but across the street, to prevent being hassled by
the Federal Officers guarding all of the entrances. At the garage to
the building I was ordered not to take any pictures.

I spent some time with the oldest leafleteer because he reminded me
of some of the New Hampshire " Green Mountain Boys " that I once
chummed around with. Few people care that our dollar's real worth is
only a nickel or a dime. Very Few People Dare To Even Speak Of It.

On the way back to Staten Island I took a picture of another one of
Mayor Bloombergs police car caravans outside of the ferry terminal.

Inside the ferry terminal I was startled to see a N.Y.P.D. officer
in full S.W.A.T mode with an automatic rifle, helmet, and full body
armor. I asked him if I could take his picture and I sensed that if
I had of taken his picture he would have beat me with the butt of
his rifle. He Sneered " No Pictures " and I quickly walked away.

The were two more of Mayor Bloomberg's " Storm Troopers ", armed to
the teeth, by the stairway. No one came near them. When I reached
the upper level; I went over by the elevator door and took a picture
of that extremely strange sight that I had just passed by.

There are people selling narcotics in my apartment building but it
is more important for Mayor Bloomberg to assign his SWAT officers to
the Whitehall Ferry Terminal than to stop the sale of narcotics to
Staten Island's Children. Does That Make Any Sense To You??????
