My Staten Island Public Transportation Nightmares This Week!

On Tuesday March 15, 2011 I waited in the bus stop on Castleton Avenue
at Bement for a S 46 bus headed for the St. George Ferry Terminal!

There were not any cars blocking the bus stop so I wondered why the
approaching bus was not pulling over to the curb. Perhaps the bus
driver did not see me next to the bus stop sign so I waived my cane
in the air. The bus stopped in the middle of Castleton Avenue blocking
up the traff ic behind it to let me onto the bus.

The bus driver lowered the bus and I got onto the bus requesting a
transfer as I put my cash fare into the farebox. Then I noticed the
face of the female bus driver under the cap that she was wearing.

She is one of Staten Islands very worst bus drivers and has been
mentioned in previous Paynal Parables. It Is Completely Against Her
Code Of Lazy Religion To Ever Pull The Bus That She Is Driving Over To
A Curb For Anyboby Whether Old Or Young!!

Once She Pulled Her Bus Over To The Curb To Drop Off And Pick Up
Passengers Because An MTA Supervisor Was Parked Across The Street
Watching the bus Stop!

As The Bus Went Down Castleton Avenue This Female Bus Driver Gabbed
Away With the Person Standing Next To Her Often Missing The Bus Stops
Where People Wanted To Get Off _ Of The Bus.

She Does This All Of The Time No Matter What Bus Route She Is On!!

I rang the bell to get off _ on Victory Blvd. at Cebra Avenue and she
blocked up the whole intersection by stopping her bus ( number 3993 )
in the middle of the street instead of pulling into the empty and
completely clear bus stop.

On Wednesday March 16, 2011 I was at the bus stop on Bay Street at
Central Avenue awaiting the 11:00AM S 61 bus heading to the Staten
Island Mall.

WHEN THE BUS CAME I HELD UP MY CANE INDICATING THAT I WANTED TO GET
ONTO THE BUS BUT THE DRIVER IGNORED ME AND DROVE HIS BUS RIGHT INTO
MY CANE AS HE SPED BY ME AND I HIT THE SIDE OF THE BUS CURSING.

The Tall Thin Bearded Bus Driver That Was Driving The Bus Had Been
Re-Assigned To Maintanence At The Yukon Garage For Refusing To Pick Up
Passengers On The S 44 Line To the Staten Island Mall And I Was Just
Shocked That The MTA Had Him Back Driving Buses On Staten Island.

I Am Old And Disabled So Running To The Next Bus Stop On Victory Blvd.
And Getting Jailed For Seven Years For Beating Him To A Pulp With My
Cane Was Out Of the Question!! In My Heart Though I Was Hoping That
Someone On That Bus Had Punched And Kicked Him For What He Had Just
Done To Me.

I Had To Wait For Bus # 6091 which left the ferry terminal at 11:15AM.
At The Mall I Got Off Of The Bus Before The Last Stop Because I Knew
If I Saw The Bus Driver That Nearly Ran Me Over A Confrontation Would
Have Surely Ensued!!

On Friday March 18, 2011 Around 10:54AM I left the Waldbaums Supermarket
in Rosebank and went to the bus stop on Tompkins Avenue To Catch a S 52
bus to the St. George Ferry Terminal. The sign on the bus stop pole
said that the next S 52 bus was due at 11:21AM!!

THE 11:21AM S 52 BUS NEVER SHOWED UP AT ALL!! THE WOMAN IN THE BUS
STOP WITH ME KEPT CALLING PEOPLE ON HER CELL PHONE AND YELLING
ABOUT THE MISSING BUS!! I HAD TO MOVE AWAY FROM HER AS SIX S 78
BUSES, OR MAYBE MORE, WENT BY US!

The Next S 52 Bus Was Due At 11:52AM But It Was Late And Crowded!! I
Let The Irate Woman Get On First And She Gave The Driver Of Bus # 4000
A Piece Of Her Irate Mind And The Other Bus Passengers Agreed With Her
Refusing To Pay Her Fare And The Terrible MTA Service Here On The
Totally Disrespected Borough Of Staten Island!! !!

I Told This Bus Driver That His Leader Had Skipped On Him And The Guy
Sitting Behind The Driver Told Me That It Happens Every Day And I
Believe Him Because No Matter How Many Complaints Are Made To The
Management Of the MTA They Never Fire Anyone So The Situation Just Gets
Worse Instead Of Getting Any Better!!

THE NEW YORK MTA REALLY BELONGS IN FEDERAL RECEIVERSHIP!!!
