Warren and Sanders Eviscerate Bloomberg on Debate Stage by Eoin Higgins!

Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders took aim at former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg onstage at Wednesdays Las Vegas Democratic debate, likening the billionaire businessman to President Donald Trump and questioning his ability to turn out voters.

Mr. Sanders began by calling out Mr. Bloomberg for his stewardship of New Yorks stop and frisk policy that targeted young black men.

"In order to beat Donald Trump we are going to need the largest voter turnout in the history of the United States," said Mr. Sanders. "Mr. Bloomberg had policies in New York City of stop and frisk, which went after African-American and Latino people in an outrageous way. That is not a way you are going to grow voter turnout."

"Bernie swinging at Mr. Bloomberg right out of the gates," tweeted journalist Krystal Ball.

Ms Warren added that Mr. Bloombergs similarity to Donald Trump made him a flawed candidate.

"I would like to talk about who we are running against," said Ms Warren. "A billionaire who calls women -fat broads- and -horse-faced- lesbians, and, no I am not talking about Donald Trump, I am talking about Mayor Bloomberg."

"Elizabeth Warren just ripped out Mike Bloombergs guts, showed them to him, and reminded us why she once was a frontrunner: her unrivaled ability to take down arrogant, corrupt rich dudes," said Young Turks journalist Emma Vigeland.
