Bringing In The New Year

The female clerk at the Staten Island Mall asked me what I did to bring in the
New Year. I told her " Well from 12:00AM until 12:15AM on January 1, 2009 I
attempted to count the salvo of gunshots going off; but I lost the count while
the count was in the twenties. "

She asked me where I live and I told her that " I live on Saten Island's North
Shore where Mayor Mike Bloomberg's Police Force Just Pretends To Police! "

On Cristmas Eve and New Years Eve the staff of the 120th Police Precinct is
transferred to Mayor Mike's Marvelous Manhattan to be oh so visible for the
tourists and the oh so many TV cameras.

We Staten Island StepChildren will just continue to have to do without proper
Police Protection as best we can.

The fourteenth admendment to our United States Constitution forbids this very
Blatant UnEqual Treatment; but Mayor Michael Bloomberg obviously is not at all
concerned about the lowly residents of Staten Island's 120th Police Precinct.

311 calls go unanswered! The Police do not even bother to carry ticket books.

No tickets are ever issued by the Uniformed Police Officers at the Ferry
Terminal for people smoking or private cars speeding down the bus ramps; the
officers are just supposed to stand around looking pretty for the tourists!

And Heaven Forbid the Narcotics Merchants are never to be Interupted while
they continue to Poison the youth of Staten Island with their Drug Dealing.

Handguns are almost as plentiful as cell phones among the Gang-Bangers and
thugs on Staten Island but Mayor Michael is surely not at all concerned.

Lots of people can discharge their firearms to celebrate the beginning of 2009
and our elected officials do not give a rat's ass about it!!

There aren't any bodies on the ground - So Absolutely Nothing Happened!!

Mayor Michael Has His Statistics To Prove It!!

The Facade Must Be Kept Going No Matter How Unbelievable It Gets!!
