Pretending To Police
(2009-01-11 at 14:17:42 )
Manhattan Mayor Michael Bloomberg instituted a 311 calling system once he took
over the position of our Mayor. The system works except in the case of the New
York City Police Department here on Staten Island and noise complaints.
The New York City Police Department's 120 Police Precinct may get around to
responding to a noise complaint after the fouth or fifth 311 complaint has
been filed. They fabricate the responces to the early calls by claiming:
" The Police Department responded to the complaint and determined that police
action was not necessary. "
At other times, for a change of pace, the Officers of the 120th will report:
" The Police Department responded to the complaint and with the information
available observed no evidence of the violation at that time. "
After the fourth or fifth 311 complaint has been filed about the same problem
a different status report will be filed by the 120th Police Precinct:
" The Police Department responded to the complaint and took action to fix the
condition. "
" Public Service " is NOT something that is provided to this North Shore
neighborhood. The MTA buses do not operate on time nor do the bus drivers
bother to pull the bus over to the curb. Quite often a bus will just not
show up and people have to wait twice the waiting time to get onto a bus.
Mayor Bloomberg does not assign N.Y.P.D. Detectives to the North Shore to
" detect " the major narcotics suppliers or gun dealers.
After a violent or notorious incident here our Magnificent Mayor Michael
Bloomberg will place some " Uniformed Officers " in a doorway or set up one
of those aerial " crow's nests " observation platforms to Pretend that Police
Services are being provided to this " under the radar " community.
" No Service " is not just something that might be indicated on your cell
phone.
" No Public Service " permeates the North Shore of Staten Island like a
contagious uncurable disease.
Are you, or your children, able to purchase cigarettes, alcohol, narcotics, or
guns at your neighborhood store??
Or is this only happening on the North Shore!!
