Over Half of All Americans Receive Government Health Care By Laurence M. Vance!
Most developed countries in the world have some form of socialized medicine in which almost all healthcare professionals are employed by the government, healthcare providers are primarily privately employed but bill the national health system, or something in between.
Most Americans think that we do not have socialized medicine here, but the truth is that over half of all United States of Americans receive some form of government health care.
The population of the United States is about 334 million.
According to the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA), enrollment in Medicaid is about to reach 100 million Americans.
According to the 2022 Annual Report of the Boards of Trustees of the Federal Hospital Insurance and Federal Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Funds, in 2021, Medicare covered 63.8 million people.
According to ObamaCare Facts, the total number of people enrolled in the ACA (ObamaCare) via the federal and state insurance exchange "marketplaces" is 14.5 million.
According to Medicaid.gov, there are over 9 million children enrolled in the Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
And then there are the military personnel who receive VA health care.
Why is the cost per capita for health care in the United States of America higher than in other countries? Why is the quality of health care in some other countries better than in the United States?
This is because the United States has a half socialist-half fascist health care system. The government both subsidizes health care and health insurance, which tremendously distorts the health care and health insurance markets, and regulates every facet of health care and health insurance, which tremendously distorts the health care and health insurance markets.
It is an illegitimate purpose of government to provide or pay for all or part of anyones health care or health insurance.
Medicine should be completely separated from the state.
This means no Obamacare, no Medicare, no Medicaid, no CHIP, no government medical research, no government subsidies, no government vaccination programs, no government HIV-AIDS prevention initiatives, no restrictions on the sale of bodily organs, no government medical licensing, and no government mandates or regulations regarding physicians, dentists, nurses, midwives, psychiatrists, psychologists, hospitals, medical devices, pharmacists, insurance companies, medical schools, nursing homes, drugs, or drug companies.
On the federal level, it is also unconstitutional for the federal government to have anything to do with health care or health insurance.
So this also means that there should be no National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), or Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
No American is entitled to health care at the expense of any other American.
No American should be forced to pay for the health care of any other American-regardless of how sick, old, poor, disabled, or needy that other American is.
All charity should be private and voluntary. Health care is not a right; it is a service that can and should be provided on the free market just like any other service from education to hair styling to landscaping to car repair!
