Unbelievable, it is really just unbelievable how greed and corruption are
recently coming into the light each and every day of the week. Today I saw
the sad story about Mr. Darrel Dochow who was the Treasury Department West
Coast regional director of the Office of Thrift Supervision that allowed
the IndyMac bank to cook their books to hide their looming bank failure.

We United States Taxpayers subsequently lost over Nine Billion Dollars due
to this fraud scandal. Mr. Dochow has been allowed to quietly quit his job
and to retire from his position as a $230,000.00 per year U.S. Government
Regulator. How is that for Government Gall?

It appears that Mr. Darrel Dochow was also the government regulator in
1989 who oversaw the failed Lincoln Savings and Loan scandal that sent
CEO Charles Keating to prison and cost us taxpayers $3.4 Billion Dollars.

Mr. Dachow was demoted at that time, but later, was brought back into the
Office of Thrift Supervision. How did that happen?

This is not the local police taking a weekly payoff to ignore an ongoing
poker game. This is a Federal Government Official perpetrating, with the
bank accountants, a Massive Fraud over a substantial period of time.

It is reported that these bank regulators actually approached the bank and
suggested that deposit dates be falsified to keep the bank in compliance
with the rules. Investors and depositors were all kept in the dark about
just how much in the Red IndyMac Bank truly was.

Our Government took over IndyMac in July when the stock sold for just
pennies. Mr. Dachow and his colleagues are NOT EXPECTED to go to Prison!

Depositors lost their money, U.S. Taxpayers lost their money; but no one
is going to jail. Do any of these " White Collar Criminals " go to jail???

Mr. Dachow did not do his job and protect the people of the United States;
what he did do is to make matters worse by increasing the Level of Fraud.

It would make any rational person come to the conclusion that our banks
and our government are just as corrupt as each other in their quest to
loot the public pocket every chance that they get.

Is this the Depth of Depravity that this nation has finally sunk into?
Are we that Comatose? Are we that Stupid? Are we that Gullible?

We keep putting up with it; so we must truly be a Nation of Idiots!!
