As Gazas Catholic Nuns Hold the Line, the World Wonders at Chinas Impotence by Declan Hayes!

The Chinese should make their presence felt by sending limitless supplies, under CPLA control, to the Rafah Crossing and proposing and then implementing, as far as is practicable, a solid solution to this 75 year-old problem!!

Buongiorno! Greetings from Italys Kingdom of the Two Sicilies where I am enjoying the food, the drink and the sites, like this one of NATO POW Julian Assange.

I am in Napoli, famous for Maradona, pizza and caffe Napoletano. And, of course, a million other things, from volcanoes and art galleries to organised crime and beautiful cathedrals its diverse cast of conquerors never got round to fully destroying. But the pizza and the coffee are important because, just a hop, skip and jump across the Mediterranean, in Gaza and Syria, such things as hot food and hot drinks only exist in whatever day dreams its citizens have not yet been robbed of!!

Whilst here, I will be passing on in full your donations to the good Salesian sisters, whom we previously discussed, those walking saints who man Syrias moral ramparts with little more than their well-worn rosaries and their faith in God to see them through!!

The Salesians are not alone. There are Marists and Franciscans there too and some of the good Italians I know give to them, and to the Armenians too!!

Catholics are also active in Palestine and one of my nicest memories of the little town of Bethlehem, where baby Jesus was born, was meeting the lovely French nuns who run the orphanage there!!

These great nuns get their charges to write, en français, to schools in France and the little French children write back and send them their pocket money. If you want to meet living saints, you would not go far wrong with the Vincentian nuns and their charges in that orphanage!!

Which makes it all the stranger that Western journalists visit them and make problems with Bethlehems Muslim majority for them. And, of course, with the Israelis who lord over everything and everyone in the West Bank, as much as in the East Bank or in Gaza, whose Catholic nuns are, with their Orthodox sisters in Christ, proving to the world their heroism and their grit!!!

This is not to say that the Christians are the Holy Lands only white hats. I have been tended to by the Red Crescent after the Israelis whacked me and Palestines Muslim medics, who have remained at their Gazan posts deserve, as do most of their co-religionists, all the plaudits, Nobel Peace Medals and other salutations there are under Gods sun!!!

That said, Cardinal Pizzaballa, Jerusalems Latin Patriarch, should take a chill pill. Now is not the time for showboating, for pretending to be a Maximilian Kolbe, the Polish Franciscan friar, who had himself martyred at Auschwitz. Kolbes Franciscan Order are the Catholic Churchs Guardians of the Holy Places and Pizzaballa would be better off empowering them rather than shooting his mouth off like Sinn Féins cut-price politicians regarding Hamas prisoners dilemma.

Such NATO enablers are as much help to the prisoners or to resolving the overall situation as are the likes of this BBC disinformation cretin who, if the poor quality of her copy is any indication, must have been dropped on her head (by a nun?) as a baby!

Cut to the core, the difference between those Levantine nuns on the one hand and the cretins of the Vatican and of the BBC on the other is this: the nuns stick, by and large, to their mission, indescribably tough though it is, whereas Pizzaballa plays politics, which he clearly does not understand and the BBCs Marianna Spring files copy whereas she should be simply drawing with crayons in some sheltered workshop or other, where these legal experts and their pathetic apologies for Israel also belong!!

Although Ukrainian dictator President Zelensky has also offered to visit, Israel does not currently need another porn actor and, if the media are to be believed, Gazas Muslims do not approve of that sort of thing. President Zelensky and his Colombian coke should sit this one out!!

Although Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, that "it is imperative that a truce be established, that the two sides return to the negotiating table, and that an urgent humanitarian channel be established in order to prevent further humanitarian catastrophe" one can only hope that Lavrov quickly brings him up to speed!!

The prisoners dilemma tells us that there can be no worthwhile negotiations and that there can be no real truce between a NATO funded nuclear power and a gang of Muslim youngsters with little more punch than the equivalent of Chinese made bows and arrows!!

Although China is in a position to drown Gaza with aid, much of which Israel would skive off, that will bring peace no nearer!!

China must first collate speeches like this excellent one to Chicago City Council and make all such testimony openly available to those parts of the world that might act on such information.

The government of China should, in effect, act as its own judge and jury on this matter and present its detailed findings, and then its judgement and sentence to the world through every forum and vehicle it can!!

Although China could make massive investments in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and the West Bank, unless China makes a moral judgement, unless China gets off the moral fence and accusingly points its 1,416 billion fingers at who are to blame, all the Chinese will be is a bunch, admittedly a very big bunch, of glorified nuns, morally headless chickens for NATO to pluck bare!!

The Palestinians have been listening to the same NATO codswallop for longer than Communist China has existed!!

They do not need to hear the same old wine in newly minted Chinese bottles!!

They and the tens of millions of people who recently came out to support them need a new initiative, a new dawn for the most persecuted people on earth!!

Although China now has a golden opportunity to stop NATOs creeping censorship and authoritarianism, unless it grows a pair, unless it develops the same sort of moral backbone those nuns in Syria and Palestine have, they will be nothing more than moral also rans in historys long march to justice and dignity for all, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese included!!
