Do Not play God! Pope Francis takes a stand against "gender theory" by Robert Bridge!

It is the time for educators in the United States to heed both the advice of the pope and scientific studies and reverse their stance on gender theory.

Long a defender of LGBTQ+ rights, the Bishop of Rome has come out and denounced attempts to deny sexual differences between men and women.

Much like a seasoned politician, Pope Francis, seemingly anxious about disturbing his 1.3 billion flock, seems to be sitting on the fence when it comes to issues related to the LGBTQ+ community.

In July 2013, his notorious "Who am I to judge?" statement was graciously received by the alternative lifestyle community, becoming the Vaticans most revealing remarks on LGBTQ individuals. At other times, and in opposition to his predecessors, Francis has stressed the need to accept, welcome, and accompany LGBTQ people, including LGBTQ children, and has denounced laws criminalizing homosexuality. And much to the displeasure of many within the Catholic Church, he has also supported same-sex civil unions as legal protections for same-sex couples. Now, Francis outspoken remarks on gender-affirming surgery have provoked heated debate in the United States, where the Liberals are staunch supporters of alternative lifestyles.

"Regarding gender theory, whose scientific coherence is the subject of considerable debate among experts, the Church recalls that human life in all its dimensions, both physical and spiritual, is a gift from God," the Vatican document, called Dignitas Infinita, states. "This gift is to be accepted with gratitude and placed at the service of the good. Desiring a personal self-determination, as gender theory prescribes, apart from this fundamental truth that human life is a gift, amounts to a concession to the age-old temptation to make oneself God, entering into competition with the true God of love revealed to us in the Gospel."

The White House faced tough questions about Pope Francis declaration condemning gender theory, ultimately affirming President Bidens support for the transgender community.

"[T]he president will continue to be an advocate for the rights, safety and dignity of the LGBTQ+ community, including transgender people here in the United States," White House spokesperson Jean-Pierre said in response to a reporter who asked for comments on the document.

The Popes pronouncement is critical for a number of reasons. Within the framework of cancel culture, gender theory attempts to deny the most profound difference that exists between human beings: sexual difference.

This basic difference is not only the greatest imaginable difference that both separates and cojoins men and women, but is also the most sacred and most powerful of them. In the male-female relationship, this difference achieves the most remarkable of reciprocities. It thus becomes the source of that miracle that never ceases to amaze us: the arrival of new human beings in the world.

Pope Francis remarks come at a time when the number of minors experiencing gender dysphoria has exploded. Between 2009 and 2019, the number of children being referred for transitioning treatment in the United Kingdom surged 1,000% among biological males and 4,400% among biological females.

At the same time, the number of young people identifying as transgender in the United States has almost doubled since 2017, according to a new Centers for Disease Control & Prevention report. But newly released data demonstrates that this push for children to change their sex, which begins at kindergarten, is one of the most pressing problems of the modern age. The reason? The majority of children grow out of their beliefs over time.

A landmark 15-year study, which perfectly coincides with Francis remarks, concludes that being trans is usually just a passing phase for kids. Researchers from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands monitored more than 2,700 children from age 11 to their mid-twenties, questioning them every three years for sentiments about their gender.

At the start of the study, published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, about one-in-10 children (11 percent) expressed "gender non-contentedness" to varying degrees. By age 25, however, just one-in-25 (4 percent) said they "often" or "sometimes" were discontent with their gender, the Daily Mail reported.

The researchers concluded: The results of the current study might help adolescents to realize that it is normal to have some doubts about ones identity and ones gender identity during this age period and that this is also relatively common.

Now is the time for educators in the United States to heed both the advice of the pope and scientific studies and reverse their stance on gender theory.

Let kids enjoy their childhoods without absurd questions regarding their "preferred pronouns." To do anything less would amount to systemic child abuse.
