Save The Rich - Save The Rich

On Friday April 3rd, 2009 I got a flyer from a member of the Ron Paul
Campaign For Liberty across the street from the New York Stock Exchange.

The flyer asked me to contact my Congressional Representative about H.R.
1207 which is a bill to audit the Federal Reserve System.

On September 18, 2007 Alan Greenspan stated on PBS with Jim Lehrer that:
The Federal Reserve is an Independent Agency. There is no other agency of
government that can overrule actions that we take.

In The Case Against The Fed Murray Rothbard stated: The Federal Reserve
System Is Accountable To No One; It Has No Budget; It Is Subject To No
Audit; And No Congressional Committee Knows Of, Or Can Truly Sepervise,
Its Operations.

The Federal Reserve, Virtually In Total Control Of The Monetary System Of
These United States , Is Accountable To Absolutely No One At All.

The Federal Reserve Refuses To Identify The Recipients of The $2 Trillion
Dollars Of Emergency Loans It Gave Out From The American Taxpayers.

WE AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE CLEARLY ALL JUST CHUMPS AND MORONS!!!

The two gentlemen and I were interupted by a female New York City Police
Officer who informed us that we could not stand across the street from
the New York Stock Exchange. She informed us that the permit only allowed
for people to be within the designated barriers up on Broadway.

I took a picture of her so ordering us to move and I moved through the
rain onto Broadway. I was not part of the protest going on so I went
across the street from the sound truck and the very tightly barricaded
demonstrators. The rain was pouring down very hard.

The New York City Police Department was out in force everywhere. The metal
barricades stretched for as far as the eye could see. The protesters were
mostly quite law abiding middle class people. There were not any rabble
rousers out there as far as I could see for this peaceful protest.

In fact a weathy man in an expensive suit seconded the motion to Save The
Rich as I prepared to photograph the man decked out in his Save The Rich
outfit.

Here on Staten Island the ranks of the police force are so thin it is a
long ongoing joke; but on Mayor Magnificent Michael Bloombergs Manhattan
Island the N.Y.P.D. is everywhere guarding the folks with access to the
money of lots of other people.

The protest was to continue on this Saturday afternoon.
