And More Crap For You Staten Island StepChildren
(2009-06-12 at 16:02:32 )
On Saturday June 6, 2009 I sat on a Ramp " D " bench waiting for the noon
bus while the guy down on the other end of the bench sold his untaxed
cigarettes out of his green bag. Evidently the camera on the opposite wall
is not working or no one is watching what the hell is going on.
This Situation Is So Typical, Now, Of The North Shore of Staten Island. It
Is The Terrible End Result Of The Mayor Michael Bloomberg Policy Of
Reducing The Statistics Of Crime For His Public Relations Reports.
On May 29, 2009 and May 30, 2009 and May 31, 2009 I made a total of Nine
311 calls to the City of New York. The 311 call in system is the very wise
brainchild of Mayor Bloomberg who is to be commended for installing it.
However, the Policy Of Mayor Bloomberg To Reduce Crime Statistics Has Been
Interpreted By His New York City Police Department As A Green Light To
Ignore Doing Any Kind Of Police Work, Whenever It Is Possible.
On May 29, 2009 at 5:30PM I was given complaint # C1-1-483103163 because
the tenants of apartment 3D, in my building, were blasting music loud
enough to be heard in New Jersey. STATUS:The Police Department responded
to the complaint and determined that police action was not necessary.
Since the loud music kept filling my apartment I called 311 again and at
9:11PM I was given complaint # C1-1-483167167. STATUS: The New York City
Police Department reponded to the complaint and determined that police
action was not necessary.
Not be be outdone; someone brought their loud boombox onto the front steps
of the building that I live in and they too filled my apartment with their
loud music. At 9:41PM I was given 311 complaint # C1-1-483182059. STATUS:
The Police Department responded to the complaint and determined that
police action was not necessary.
At 10:43PM 311 gave me complaint # C1-1-483194028 because the very loud
music was still being blasted out of apartment 3D. STATUS: The Police
Department responded to the complaint and determined that police action
was not necessary.
On May 30, 2009 at 1:20AM I was given 311 complaint # C1-1-483194243 to
cover the very loud music still being blasted from apartment 3D. STATUS:
The Police Department responded to the complaint and with the information
available observed no evidence of the violation at that time.
The loud music from apartment 3D, Thankfully, stopped at 2:30AM!!
When I got home in the afternoon the loud music was again being blasted
from apartment 3D. At 1:45PM 311 gave me complaint # C1-1-483309991 and
guess what? STATUS: The Police Department responded to the complaint and
determined that police action was not necessary.
At 4:32PM 311 gave me complaint # C1-1-483332985 because the continuously
loud music from apartment 3D was filling my apartment. STATUS: The Police
Department responded to the complaint and with the information available
observed no evidence of the violation at that time.
At 9:55PM 311 gave me complaint # C1-1-483335261 because the loud music
from apartment 3D was still blasting. I told the 311 operator that I had
been tape recording the loud music from apartment 3D and that I needed to
find a competent lawyer to sue the City of New York. STATUS: THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO THE COMPLAINT AND TOOK ACTION TO
FIX THE CONDITION.
On May 31, 2009 At 12:08AM 311 gave me complaint # C1-1-483319625 because
the loud music was still blasting from inside apartment 3D. STATUS: The
Police Department responded and upon arrival those responsible for the
condition were gone.
At 12:39AM there were FOUR New York City Police Department Sector Cars In
Front of my Building and the 3D Loud Music Had Finally Come to An End.
After three days I went to the 311 Website and printed out copies of the
nine reports that I will present with my tape recordings!!
Such Is The Level Of Disdain and Neglect Delivered To The Residents Of
Staten Island By The New York City Police Department Of Mayor Michael R.
Bloomberg.
We Are Treated Worse Than Neglected StepChildren By The New York City
Police Department Of Mayor Magnificent Michael Bloomberg!!
You Betcha!!
